About Anke

Anke de Boer’s passion for supporting young businesses in the climate space stems from her experience working with several smaller environmental organizations and seeing firsthand the challenges they face. This inspired her to start her freelance business, Green Anchor Consulting, where she offers expertise in climate policy, business development, fundraising, and thought leadership for an affordable price.

Prior to founding Green Anchor Consulting, Anke worked for the Global Alliance for a Sustainable Planet, where she played a key role in conceptualizing several $50B climate funds. She also provided strategic advice on fundraising and thought leadership, and managed a team of 20 interns.

Anke started her career as a Business Analyst in Brisbane, Australia, where she contributed to strategic and financial plans for $50-$100 million turnaround projects. She went on to work as a Digital Coordinator at the Australian Youth Climate Coalition, developing an interest in community empowerment and climate justice as part of climate action.

Anke graduated with Distinction from the London School of Economics (LSE), holding a MSc in Environmental Policy and Regulation.
